The Channeling Healthy Adolescent Interaction Project was developed in 1985 in response to the special needs of Jewish adolescents in our community.  Through preventive educational programs, peer support/referral training, and consultation/referral services, the Project enables teens to better cope with the tremendous emotional changes and pressure they encounter.  Adolescents are also provided with a "save" non-judgmental environment for sharing concerns and gaining useful information on where to turn in times of need.

Preventive Education
Educational programs are provided for the area religious schools and youth groups to address issues of adolescent concern such as: communication skills, peer pressure, relationships, self-esteem, sexuality, stress, substance abuse, and suicide.

Consultation and Referral
A Teen Specialist is available to provide support and resource information to adolescents, parents and youth workers
